Share the Silence
Watching silent films is one of the things both deaf people and hearing people can enjoy in the same way. Share the Silence is an event aimed at hearing people to help understand deaf people and deaf culture. The event consists of playing silent films and films about deaf people, and sign language lectures. BFI (British Film Institute) and British Deaf Association have joined the campaign.
